August 2022 Trail Update
Trail crews worked on drainage issues on Lost Lake trail, near Hromek Road. In addition, Piper, Myra Bailout, Ridgeview, Lost Lake Connector and Fairlane (east of Priest Creek) have been re-brushed.
Priest Creek Trail Closure
Trail closed 5k east of Pete’s Bridge due to flooding. GPS 41°24’12.2″N 2°10’26.5″E. Crews working next week. Anticipate opening date: week of March 14th. Check back for official opening date.
Regional District of the Central Okanagan (RDCO)
FOSS has worked closely with the RDCO for many years; FOSS supports and shares the same vision for overall connectivity, always looking for opportunities to complete, and protect, the vast trail system extending the breadth and length of the South Slopes.
