August 2022 Trail Update
Trail crews worked on drainage issues on Lost Lake trail, near Hromek Road. In addition, Piper, Myra Bailout, Ridgeview, Lost Lake Connector and Fairlane (east of Priest Creek) have been re-brushed.
Priest Creek Trail Closure
Trail closed 5k east of Pete’s Bridge due to flooding. GPS 41°24’12.2″N 2°10’26.5″E. Crews working next week. Anticipate opening date: week of March 14th. Check back for official opening date.
Regional District of the Central Okanagan (RDCO)
FOSS has worked closely with the RDCO for many years, always looking for opportunities to complete, and protect, the vast trail system of the South Slopes.
City Of Kelowna
In pursuit of our goal of ultimate connectivity on the South Slopes, FOSS has always worked closely with the different levels of government, including the City of Kelowna.
Province of BC
FOSS works with the Province of BC, including BC Parks and the ministries of Forests and Environment.
