We’re excited to announce that the Adopt-A-Trail Program has been expanded—offering even more opportunities for local businesses, organizations, families, and individuals to support the trails they love.
For over 13 years, hard-working volunteers like Penny Gubbels have orchestrated trail adoptions. And this one program has been a huge part of the annual funding that allows our volunteers to keep our trail open and safe.
And now the Adopt-A-Trail Program is bigger than ever!
When you adopt a trail, your annual contribution helps fund the ongoing volunteer work that keeps the park in top condition. This includes trail maintenance, deadfall removal, drainage improvements, signage, and habitat protection. Every dollar raised goes back into preserving and improving the park for future generations.
Trail adopters receive recognition on official Adopt-A-Trail signage on their trail, making this a unique opportunity for businesses to demonstrate community leadership, for families to celebrate loved ones, or for passionate park users to give back in a lasting way.

Whether you’re a local company looking to support outdoor recreation, a family wanting to honour someone special, or simply someone who believes in protecting the places we all enjoy—there’s a trail waiting for you.
Adopting is simple: choose your trail, pay the annual adoption fee, and FOSS takes care of the rest.
Available trails are limited and adoptions are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Join us in helping preserve the South Slopes trail network and become part of the legacy of stewardship that keeps Myra-Bellevue Park thriving.
