We’re thrilled to share the success of the second annual FortisBC staff volunteer day! This year, 17 FortisBC volunteers joined forces with 6 dedicated FOSS volunteers to tackle 3 important projects in Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park:
- Enhancing the connection trail between Lost Lake Trail and Upper Bench to ensure safe access.
- Repainting the kiosk at the main Stewart Rd E parking lot. Installed by FOSS 21 years ago, it was long overdue for a refresh!

3) Improving safety at the Harvard Rd entrance by repainting the metal swing gate, laying gravel, repairing fencing, and replacing signs and signposts.

This collaboration between FortisBC and FOSS is all about keeping our trails safe and raising awareness of the fantastic recreational areas in our city. And guess what? The FortisBC team is already planning for next year!
Thanks to all the volunteers for your hard work!
