Exciting news, hikers! The Camp Huissi KVR Work Camp Trail is now open! We’ve cleared the path and removed all obstacles for your hiking pleasure. 
They installed signs at both entrances to the Camp Huissi trail and deposited crush at the toe ends of trestles 1-9, ensuring a smooth and safe transition from the rail bed to the trestle deck. Great job, team!
Trail Details:
Starting Point: Just past Trestle 4 (west exit)
Elevation Gain: approximately 50 metres to a historic camp area
Historic Highlights: Visible tent platforms from the KVR construction era (1912-14)
Route: Climbs to a level area, then descends southeast to rejoin the KVR near Trestle 5
Length: Approximately 1.3 kilometres
