After over a decade of sitting in KLO Creek, the old truck engine and transmission have finally been removed from the creek bed and placed on higher ground!
A huge shoutout to Rick for coordinating the crew and Alan, Hugh and Mark for their muscle power. Alan and Rick also cleared some deadfall along the way.
While the truck body is still there, FOSS has agreed to hold off on removing anything larger than old signposts—unless we get a 212! 
But for now, we’ve reduced the risk of the truck parts polluting the creek, making the area safer for all hikers, climbers, and cyclists.
