Our dedicated directors, Rick Ellery and Alan Milnes, were hard at work on Thursday morning installing brand-new trail etiquette signs at the ends of all 18 trestles. These highly visible signs are designed to enhance safety, especially when there’s oncoming traffic.
Here’s what you need to know:
– Cyclists, please yield to both hikers and equestrians.
– Hikers, please yield to equestrians.
This, combined with the new decking covering the entire trestle bed will further enhance safety.
Remember, courtesy and safety go a long way in making our trails enjoyable for everyone. Thank you for doing your part!
