A major failure of the KVR Rail Trail has occurred 2.4K south of Little White Forest Service Road. The washout is adjacent to Vapour Trail and has destroyed a significant portion of the trail.
Recreation Sites and Trails B.C. are working on site. Initial stabilization is occurring under the supervision of a geotechnical engineer. Concrete barriers will block the site for public safety. A permanent solution will be planned and instituted at a future date.
Vapour trail is closed between the KVR and Lost Lake trail. Please access it from Lost Lake trail.
