MS Society Fundraiser Bike Ride in Kamloops

Dear Friends of the South Slopes Society

On behalf of the Multiple Sclerosis Society I would like to welcome
you and your members to participate in The MS Bike Okanagan
Experience. Multiple Sclerosis is an unpredictable disease, affecting
vision, hearing, memory, balance and mobility. Its effects are
physical, emotional, financial and they last a lifetime. The MS
Society’s mission is to be a leader in finding a cure for Multiple
Sclerosis and enabling people affected by MS to enhance their quality
of life.
Since 1989 cyclists of all ages have participated in MS Bike to create
awareness, inspire change in the lives of those impacted and support
the largest fundraising cycling series in North America. This year The
MS Bike Okanagan Experience is taking place on September 8th and 9th
and features a scenic ride with challenging hill climbs, fantastic
food, and scenic views unique to the Okanagan. This year we’re
starting and finishing each day at Rona Home and Garden, and
participants will have the option of completing between 73km and 160km
over the weekend. Registration includes breakfasts, lunches, and a
dinner on Saturday night to celebrate.
When you ride with MS Bike, you join our country’s collective effort
to help improve the lives of Canadians affected by MS. The dollars you
raise are invested in world-leading MS research happening right here
in Canada research that will bring us closer than ever to the first
treatment for progressive MS and ultimately a cure for the disease.
Join us at this event full of excitement, challenge and community!
